Red Arrow train is the oldest branded train in Russia, running on the route from St. Petersburg to Moscow and reverse.
It started operating in 1931. The best cars have been selected, with authentic interior, the most professional machinists were recruited for this train. But later, the daily operation of Red Arrow was cancelled due to the beginning of the World War II. In Soviet period, it was intended for political elite travels between the two capitals.
For the first time in history of the Official Russian railways, Red Arrow train was equipped with 1st class and VIP class carriages with individual showers and toilets, sensory switches and heated floors.
The Restaurant car of Red Arrow offers a specialty menu. Dinner may be delivered to a cabin upon request.
The train runs on a daily basis. Its speed reaches 160 km / h, travel time is 8 hours. Red Arrow schedule is structured in a way the passengers can fully relax.

VIP cabins are equipped according to the latest technology. They feature superior facilities: individual WC, shower cabin with sensory switches, heated floors, LCD screen, VHS, CD-DVD system, conductor call button.
Furthermore, the sofa converts to a 1.5 sized bed and the upper bunk bed can be used as well. To maximise your comfort throughout the journey, all necessary things are included in the price: hot meal, travel set, bedding, etc.
SV is a two-berth compartment with a higher level of comfort. Each compartment is equipped with a table, a mirror, a lockable door, a large panoramic window, 220V sockets and separate tap lights. All passengers are offered a hot meal, a tea/coffee set (tea and coffee, sugar, honey, cream, waffles and other sweets), also a travel set, slippers and bathrobe, bedding and press are included in the ticket price.
2nd class Coupe
Standard compartment for 4 people. Two lower bunk beds and 2 upper bunk beds. A hot meal, a travel set, slippers and bathrobe, bedding and press are included in the ticket price.
